Questions students ask

Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp and a Times Edu advisor will help.

Is this an official Cambridge, IB or College Board test?

No. Times Edu teachers wrote every question to match the content and command words of these programmes. It is a diagnostic, so it tells you where you stand and what to study. It does not predict an exam grade.

Which programme should I choose?

Choose the programme you are studying now or starting next. IGCSE covers foundation to IGCSE Extended. A Level, IB and AP cover IGCSE Core to the hardest A2, HL and AP content.

Can I use a calculator?

A basic calculator is fine. No question needs a graphing calculator, and every constant you need is given in the question.

What if I don't finish in 30 minutes?

You can keep going. The timer turns amber but never cuts you off. Your result notes how long you took.

Do I have to give my email or phone number?

Yes. A full name, phone number and email are required to open the results. Times Edu saves your details when you submit the form.

Can I take more than one subject?

Yes. Each subject is a separate 30-minute test. Your progress is saved in this browser, so you can stop and come back.
