IGCSE tutoring,
from foundation
to A-star.
Vietnam's most trusted 1:1 coaching for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education — the gateway qualification to A-Level, IB Diploma and the world's top universities. We cover every major subject across both Cambridge and Edexcel boards.
The world's most popular international qualification for 14–16 year olds. Recognised by universities and employers in over 150 countries as proof of rigorous academic preparation.
The passport your child actually needs for international education.
The IGCSE — International General Certificate of Secondary Education — is a globally recognised qualification typically taken between ages 14 and 16. It is designed, examined and awarded by the University of Cambridge (and also offered by Edexcel/Pearson), and it is the single most important credential your child will earn before A-Level, IB Diploma or university admissions.
In Vietnam, IGCSE is offered at virtually every international school — BIS, BVIS, ISHCMC, SSIS, EIS, TAS and many others. But international school classrooms are built for the average of 20 students, not for your child. Times Edu is where students come to close gaps, push past plateaus and turn predicted B grades into final A*s.
Why IGCSE matters
Strong IGCSE results directly determine your child's A-Level or IB subject choices, influence university offers (many UK universities include IGCSE grades in their conditional offers), and build the academic foundation that determines every step afterwards. A single C grade in IGCSE Maths can quietly close doors that should have stayed open.
How Times Edu is different
We assign one dedicated mentor per student — usually a CIE-registered examiner or a specialist with a 10+ year track record teaching the exact syllabus your child is sitting. No rotating tutors. No generic worksheets. Every lesson is built around your child's most recent mock paper.
Every IGCSE subject, specialist-led.
Click any subject to see the full syllabus breakdown, exam structure, common pitfalls, results and FAQ — with a free diagnostic booking for every one.

What our IGCSE students actually achieve.
My daughter jumped from a predicted C to a final A* in IGCSE Maths 0580. Her mentor at Times Edu didn't just teach the content — she rebuilt my daughter's confidence paper by paper.
Four A*s across IGCSE Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths. Every single one was taught by a Times Edu tutor. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We came to Times Edu in January for the June sittings. Five months later my son walked out of his IGCSE exams smiling. That had never happened before.
Everything you want to ask before starting.
Still have questions? Book a free 60-minute diagnostic and our academic advisor will answer every one.
My child is in an international school already — do we really need extra tutoring?
International schools do excellent work, but their classes are designed for the average of 20 students. If your child is aiming for A* grades, or if there are specific weak topics, 1:1 mentoring closes the gap that classroom teaching simply cannot.
Can you prepare private candidates who are homeschooled?
Yes. We regularly support homeschooled IGCSE candidates — including registration guidance for Vietnam's authorised private-candidate test centres. Please ask us about our full homeschool support pathway.
What is the difference between Cambridge (CIE) and Edexcel IGCSE?
Both are internationally recognised. Cambridge syllabi are slightly more traditional and examiner-led; Edexcel papers tend to be more modular. We teach both and will match your child's mentor to the exact board your school uses.
How many hours per week do students usually book?
Most of our IGCSE students book 2–4 hours per week per subject depending on how far their diagnostic grade is from their target. We will recommend the exact cadence after the first free consultation.
Do you offer online lessons for students outside HCMC?
Yes. Roughly half of our IGCSE students learn fully online via our custom platform — with live 1:1 video, shared whiteboard, and recorded lesson replays. Students in Hanoi, Da Nang, Singapore and the UAE learn with us every week.
How much does IGCSE tutoring cost?
Our signature 1:1 mentoring starts from $65 per 90-minute session, with package discounts for multi-subject enrolments. Full details are on our Tuition page.
